Win 2 seasons passes + snow tires from Snowseekers
Our friends at Snow Seekers have a great comp running this seaon which could land you 2 seasons passes at any resort they cover on their site (the list is long), so read on for more info:
Compete the contest form here to enter to win TWO SEASON PASSES for the 2012/13 season to ANY resort that we cover on SnowSeekers.ca, as well as FOUR GOODYEAR TIRES (installed), courtesy of Fountain Tire.
SnowSeekers is confident in proclaiming North America’s Northwest (British Columbia, Alberta, Montana, Idaho, and Washington) as the powder capital of the planet. To put our theory to the test we're going to have a Total Snowfall Count that will be running all season long—until May 23, 2012, when Sunshine Village closes for the season.
Just fill out the form on their site and the person with the closest guess to the actual number will win TWO SEASON PASSES to any resort listed in the navigation on our site. If multiple people are within the same number from the correct total, we will perform a random draw from the correct guessers—on video—to declare our winner.
The destinations we will be aggregating snowfall for are:
Mount Norquay
Sunshine Village Ski & Snowboard Resort
Lake Louise Ski Area
Castle Mountain
Edmonton's Snow Valley Ski Club
Marmot Basin
Nakiska Resort
Big White
Fairmont Family Ski Area
Fernie Alpine Resort
Smithers' Hudson Bay Mountain Resort
Kicking Horse Mountain Resort
Kimberley Alpine Resort
Mount Washington Alpine Resort
Panorama Mountain Village
Powder King Mountain Resort
Revelstoke Mountain Resort
Red Mountain Resort
Silver Star Mountain Resort
Sun Peaks Ski Resort
Whistler Blackcomb
Mount Baker Ski Area
Whitefish Mountain Resort
Schweitzer Mountain Resort
That's the total snowfall, COMBINED, from the 24 resorts listed above. Here are some hints to get you started: Mount Washington received 1950 cm last season, Fernie received 1130 cm, and Marmot Basin received 408 cm.
The contest is open until January 12, 2012. The winner will be announced on May 24, 2012.
So think hard, plan well, and, as always, THINK SNOW
