Icefall Lodge Traverse then onto the Columbia
ISO willing participants who are interested in going on the hut to hut, guided, catered traverse or mountaineering course(both are on the same dates) at the Icefall Lodge. Then, with a hired guide (unless you're highly experienced)continue onto the Columbia and ski out on the Saskatchewan. It's part of the southern rockies traverse, just reversed. In some respects,it's a better route as it has the decent of 6000 ft north facing Alexandria glacier and the Saskachewan.Basically more down then up.
Several skiable 11's,remote and guided for safety with pro knowledge to have the best experience possible. The hut to hut traverse is 7 days then an additional 3-4 for the trip off the Columbia. The guide is $500 a day plus food( minor). If there's three of us,it would be perfect with four to a string and only $500 extra.
The Icefall traverse starts April 19-26.The total cost is around $2600 for the entire trip( $2100 for the Icefall trip)
We should book the Icefall soon as they only have a few spots available and to secure their guide.
