        Looking for some Beta

        Hello,

        A friend and I will be visiting your beautiful mountains from March 13th- March 18th. We have both completed AIARE 1 and 2 courses and I am an EMT and he has his Wilderness First Responder.  

        We are looking for beta on inexpensive places to stay/camp and any information you guys have about locations to ski. We would love to meet up with some of you and go skiing for a day if anyone is looking for partners. 

        Side note we are also looking for a good winter alpine route to do while we are up there so if there are any ski mountaineers on this forum your input would be greatly appreciated.

        Canada is a really big place, where exactly are you going to be skiing?

        Wow that is a really important piece of information to leave out... We were thinking somewhere near Rogers pass, Kootney National Park, or Banff National Park.
