Hi, I am Coming from Aus to ski bum it out of nelson to start and then where ever is best, for jan and feb. i am an expert downhill and advanced tele skier, skipatrol firstaid and mobility trained, but no avy trainning. i am really keen to get out in the backcountry and i have all the gear but need need some people to go with and learn from. i will be up for anything.

Anyway I'm in Seattle and will soon be in Nelson I'll put my BC number up once I am up there in the next few days. I'm pretty sure I'm going to head to the Nelson area and become a ski bum for a month or two starting Feb 1.  I'm from Calgary, Alberta.  The only thing holding me back is lack of backcountry friends in the area.  Are you still looking for ski buddies?  I'd be a full time skier so would be keen to head out weekdays and weekends.  Are you able to ski weekdays too?  I'm moderately experienced with 4 or 5 seasons of experience and Avi 1 course.  I usually ski the safer areas but am up for bagging the odd steep/exposed peak on bomber days.  If you're up for shredding some pow please let me know.  Thanks,
