Touring buddy in the Vancouver area
I'm looking for touring buddies based out of or near Vancouver. I currently have AST1 and I will be taking AST2 at the start of December so I do have some avalanche knowledge. We can go on day or overnight trips anywhere from the Duffy Lake rd area to the Coquihalla summit area. I am willing to do trips further away, but would need more than a weeks notice. Also I DO have a car so I'm willing to drive as long as you pitch on gas.

I'd love to join in on some touring! I'm available this Sunday the 11th or possibly sometime next week. I'm currently on the Sunshine Coast and can meet you in Vancouver. I'm new to the area, so I don't know the terrain, but have good backcountry knowledge, experience and gear. I can certainly pitch in on gas.
Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and touring. I just picked up all of my touring and avy gear. I tested it out on the ice at Seymour on the weekend and I'm ready for something bigger and better now. All we need is some fresh snow!
I have limited avy knowledge but consider myself an expert snowboarder and very good skier.
I'll be out of town skiing the next couple weekends but want to take a trip before new years.
