        Whistler: Mar. 6 or 8, beginner backcountry partner

        Hello! I'm looking for a partner or small group for some backcountry exploration in the Whistler area on Fri. March 6 or Sun. March 8. Nothing too serious, just looking for safe powdery fun. I don't go downhill very fast.


        I'm trained to AIARE level 1. (This multiday Amercian course is: plan ahead, always be safe, practice digging up your friend, now never be in an avalanche, always be safe). I can lend you equipment: beacon/shovel/probe, possbily boots/skis/skins if you have large feet. I have my own of everything as well.


        If the avy danger is too high I'll call it off and resort to the resort.

        I will be heading to Whistler for some easier lift-assisted backcountry this Sunday, 21.03. Anyone keen to join is welcome to do so :)
