First Turns! Oct 28 Kokanee Pass

They were good!  My lovely wife hiked (snowshoed) into Kokanee Cabin and spent the night.  We got some quality turns in near the north end of Kokanee Lake - snow depth ranged from 2 on the rocks and steeps to about 6 in the trees - and it was light! 

There was about a foot of snow on the access road starting at the old growth trail and more in the Gibson Lake parking lot, so I am guessing with the precip this week it might soon be out of reach unless you have a mighty big truck.
