Mt. Yuill
Skied Mt. Yuill, 3 km S of Gray's Peak in the Kokanee Range on Sunday, Dec 6th. High overcast with temperature dropping to -17C at the top. Moderate E winds at 7000 ft. bringing in the current arctic outflow. HS 140cm, SP 15 cms, FP 45cms. top 45 cm was facets to size 1.5, No sign of surface hoar, either it was too dry or the wind had beaten it down. Good fast skiing on SE ridge of Yuill.

Surprised more people do not go up there - great views of the lake looking back to nelson. we climbed it in 2004 in the fall and not enough to ski on - was it the west face for ascent/descent?
