French Haig Robertson 2014
Does anyone have any beta on conditions since the MCR post earlier this month?
I suspect glacier coverage to be decent with all this new snow. Has the S facing slope to The Robertson Glacier slid?
thanks for any info!

The route up to Robertson call "The Wall" has lean coverage and lots of rocks to cut your skins up as of 2 Saturdays ago.
You're call, it was a treacherous climb this time around. As for Robertson Col, lots of cornice and s good slab of ice to help you down into the skiable area! Not fun.

Thanks for the beta. I'd rather have a rocky slope up from the Haig than a loaded one getting baked in the sun. Guess we'll pay for it on the otherside.
Cheers!
