Road access to Kokanee?
I'd like to do some late spring/early summer ski touring at Kokanee. Any info on when road access opens up? Either Kokanee Creek to Gibson Lake or Woodbury Creek to get to Silver Spray?Drove up Gibson Lake road today. At 8 km there's avy debris blocking the road. It's about 10 feet deep, so no getting through. I would guess there will be other blockages up higher as well.
Parks usually clears the road late-May - early June, so hopefully it will open soon.
The road to Gibon Lake is now open.
