RMR countdown is on

One by one resorts around the province are opening up for the season thanks to last weeks non-stop storm events that rolled through. While resorts in the rockies are already fully opened and Whistler is going into their second week it's about time for an interior resort to start the lifts.

Wait no more, Revelstoke Mountain Resort is about to start operating.

Here is the official word:

DECEMBER 1ST IS OPENING DAY AT REVELSTOKE MOUNTAIN RESORT

With over 300cm of snowfall to date and a 100+cm base, Revelstoke Mountain Resort is excited to open the ski lifts for the first day of the 2012/13 ski and snowboard season this Saturday December 1, 2012.  For opening operations, skiers and riders will have access to both The Stoke and The Ripper high speed quad lifts with open terrain details dependent on weather conditions and snowfall between now and December 1st.  The Revelation Gondola will be open for first upload at 8:30am and last download at 3:00pm (downloading on the Revelation Gondola will be mandatory until conditions permit skiing below the base of the Stoke Chair).
