Upsidedown snow
Just toured up Granite at Red 3/4 of the way to near the base of the top section of Main Run. It was cccold (-22). Snow was upside down...10- 15cms of wind slab from last night's blow and below is unconsolidated new storm snow. ~100cm midway up but variable due to the wind distribution. So, struggling to keep tips up, but going right through to rocks. I recommend waiting to tour at Red until it warms up to settle the base (which will be good) and we get some new snow. Looks like both may be in order later this week...
