Avalanche Conditions Report VIDEO
In this latest Avalanche Conditions Report Video presented in conjunction with Whitewater Ski Resort, you'll learn about Tuesday's rain event that created a 2cm thick crust. It is on all aspects observed to 2150m and we believe this crust goes up to 2300m. The crust is difficult to ski, but has significantly reduced the avalanche hazard because it is now bridging the snowpack. Since Wednesday 6cm has fallen over the day which is starting to improve ski conditions, and another 6cm fell over Thursday night.Be sure to watch the following video before you head out into the backcountry. Be informed and be safe.
