Avalanche Conditions Report Video
With tomorrow being the first day of December we can officially say it's now winter. Even though this is not the typical huge start we hope for each fall, things are still pilling up nicely in the mountains with about a meter of snow at 2,000m. But don't let all that white fluffy stuff fool you, things are anything but stable out there as the numerous skier and rider accidentals will attest to.With this we bring you our first Avalanche Conditions Report, watch it, get informed and be safe: In a quick hasty pit we dug at 2000m we found a very reactive layer buried down 65cm, with another down 15cm on a recent storm interface and of course one right at the ground that was harder to trigger. All this to say, it's early season, when combining this with natural hazards, be sure to slow it down a little and keep your powder fever in check!
