        Avalanche Conditions Report VIDEO #2

        Here’s the latest Avalanche Conditions Report brought to you by our good friends at Whitewater Ski Resort, which is set to open for the season today (Friday December 10th) so be sure to watch this video if you plan on going into the backcountry. 

        A rain event last week created a 10cm thick melt freeze crust which has lowered our avalanche hazard and created a very solid base,… for now. A system is rolling in the region tonight and Saturday which could bring 20-30cm of new snow and this crust will be our main layer of concern as it will act as a bed surface for avalanches to slide on.
