Avalanche Conditions Report

Our first 2019/2020 Avalanche Conditions Report in conjunction with Whitewater Ski Resort is live, check out the video and read more below: 

With the alpine temperatures dropping and the snow starting to accumulate, conditions up in the alpine are looking similar to last season at this time. Whitewater Ski Resort has received 30-40cm in the last 7 days bringing their base height to 80cm in their alpine weather plot.

As it is early season be aware of natural hazards that are hiding right below the snow's surface.

Avalanche Canada began their winter forecast on November 22nd so be sure to check that out as well.

Time to blow out the cobwebs and get back in touring shape which also means brushing up on your avalanche rescue gear and procedures.
