The New Girth Hitch Master Point
In our world of climbing, change comes very slowly. And maybe nothing slower than our old master point or MAP. We have moved away from the sliding X about 15 years ago but nothing new has come to our MAP since then, until NOW. The talk in the climbing community is about the use of the girth hitch as our master. Now why is this better? Strong but really easy to untie. Here is a great video to answer some questions about this new technique.
