        How to perform a Hand Shear Test - VIDEO

        Winter is just around the corner which means it's time to break out your avalanche safety gear and get reacquainted with it. Ensure your probe and shovel are working properly and that your avalanche transceiver has fresh batteries. Now is the time to review how your transceiver works and to brush up on a few critical avalanche safety skills such as how to perform a Hand Shear Test.
