Nothing quite like an early-season, informative avalanche story to get you prepped for the next few months. This one, from Mammut, is good in that the two brothers share their experience and learnings with us in a play-by-play. Like many ski tourers who wind up in harms way, the bros got over- confident and stopped paying attention to the signs coming from the terrain and the conditions. And you et to practice your French too.
