Mammut Aspects. Ep. 2: The Call

Here is the second in a great video series on avalanche safety put out by Mammut. This episode shares the story of an epic go/no go call made by pro skiers Jérémie Heitz and Sam Anthamatten in Pakistan.

It all came about when they were shooting La Liste, a movie directed/written by Eric Crosland, who lives here in Nelson. The same "ingredients"  appear in a turnaround call on your little local backcountry stash as they do for massive expeditions like what is featured here. 

It's a good reminder that taking a u turn should always be a consideration.
