Exie the Avi Dog to the rescue!

Avalanche Dogs are a huge asset to any Search and Rescue or Ski Patrol team and here in Nelson we are lucky to have Lindsay and her dog Exie at the ready. Lindsay is training Exie in accordance with the Canadian Avalanche Rescue Dog Association (CARDA) guidelines so that she can be a valuable resource searching for skiers and riders when avalanches occur. Whitewater Ski Resort's Snow Safety Supervisor, Wren McElroy introduces our final Avalanche Conditions Report of the season, so sit back and watch as Exie jumps into action.
