        IFMGA Guide, Evan Stevens, talks about how to stay connected in the backcountry, digitally. He shares what devices are necessary for a day out.

        How about you? Do you bring out a phone and a sat comm device and a power pack? What is your combo for a day out vs a multiple day tour? I skip the battery for day tours and leave it at the hut for night-charging on multi-day affairs. 

        We all have different approaches but it's clear that digital tools are becoming more and more helpful in the backcountry. Watch the vid and learn about some options.
