JULIAN CARR - ON CRITICAL THINKING THROUGH FEAR
As an X-Games gold medallist and holder of two world record 'sender' titles that he earned on his skis, Julian Carr has obviously found a way to lean in to the mental and physical barriers created by his mind and body as he challenges his own limits within the sport.In this podcast, Carr goes deep into the foundational mental framework that he uses to huck himself off of enormous cliffs and perform at his best at times that would make most humans (even extreme athletes) choke up. According to him, there's a certain 'zen' required for 200+ foot inverts off cliffs that goes so much beyond just scoping a landing, and Carr seems to have tapped in to that technique.
