Ice Creek Lodge delivers the goods
Our time at Ice Creek has come to an end with a total of about 50cm falling over the week. Our legs are weary from big days keeping up with Russell (the owner) who was showing us around. He took us to the col at Big Daddy, guided us to "Grandmas" slide path, got us on top of the "Turtle Head" numerous times and even showed us "F#$%$g A" chute which was big enough for the entire group to shred.
The biggest highlights of the trip were the expansive terrain above and below the lodge, the sauna at the end of the day and of course the cooking of 'chef supreme' Lisa.
We are working on a full trip report and video that will be live in the review section shortly.
If you are looking for a backcountry hut for next season give Ice Creek Lodge a look-see, we're pretty sure you'll be impressed.
