Kelowna area touring
New to the area of Kelowna and I am wondering if there is any tours close by? Revelstoke is two hours away, Bigwhite is 1hr away. If anyone from the area knows their way around I would be very interested in being shown where to go. I have 12yrs experience snowboarding and can't get enough of the west coast mountains. Let me know where to go I'll be sure to get back to you.

Hi, I'm moved to Kelowna from Calgary, and I'm not familier with the backcountry area here.
I am a strong snowboarder, with AST1, with decent backcountry experience. I used to go backcounty riding in Rogers pass area and bow summit area when I lived in Calgary.
I am looking for backcountry buddies who knows the area around here and go enjoy powder!

Hi everyone,
Me again, from a previous post - I flew in from Europe to do a trip with a guide, but that has fallen through so I'm looking for anyone who'd like to do some touring 31 Dec - 3 Jan for a day or so. Kelowna area would be fine for me.
I have 3 years of ski touring experience in the alps, have taken various avalanche safety courses as well as glacier and ski mountaineering instruction, and have my own equipment with me. In the absence of other people to go with, I'll probably just do some sidecountry/slackcountry, so would be up for that too.

Hey everyone,
Im based out of kamloops and am looking for new touring and just riding partners in general. have a splitboard and all of the necessary avalanche gear along with my AST1. Driving distances doesnt really phase me i just want to get out as much as possible and don't know much backcountry routes up this way. Shoot me a message if you want to link up!
