Sneak Peek: New Tecnica Zero G Boots - VIDEO
For fall 2018 Tecnica has completely redesigned their successful Zero G Guide Boots in order to further improve them. If you are not familiar with the Zero G line up then click on over here for a full review of the current Zero G Guide boots.
The new 2018 version will maintain the boots power but increase the cuff rotation and further reduce the weight. You’ll notice a new buckle design and full rockered Vibram soles but with the same overlap construction. The walk mechanism on the back of the boots is also completely redesigned and is like nothing else we’ve seen to date. It engages at both the top and bottom of the mechanism which provides greater flex and range of motion in walk mode and increased power transmission in ski mode.
The Pro version of the new Zero G will use a grilamid lower shell and carbon upper to provide a 130 flex. The Zero G Scout will use a PU upper and grilamid lower to provide a 120 flex and at the Tour version will be full PU construction and have a 110 flex.
We can’t wait to test these three completely new versions of the Tecnica Zero G Boots as the few runs we had in them at the Winter Outdoor Retailer show was just a taste that makes us want more.
