Diamir Fritschi will be launching a new tech binding in the fall of 2019 so move on over Vipec and Tecton, the Fritschi Xenic 10 Binding will soon be here. The Xenic 10 is an ultralight tech binding tipping the scale at a mere 280g. It has an easy step in design with unique horizontal closure system instead of a traditional swing arms. There are two adjustments on the heel piece, one for forward release and the other for lateral release pressure. The integrated brakes lock in place once stowed and come into play upon binding release. The price is also another nice feature of the Fritschi Xenic 10 Bindings, at just $420US they’re more economical than most others on the market.
