Introducing the used gear trade in from Arc-teryx

 A couple of weeks ago I posted about greening our gear habits and today's post is very much in line with that. One of the best ways for us to reduce our footprint is to not buy new gear, which essentially means buy used if you can. Well, Arc'teryx is providing us with an outlet for such endeavors with their used gear trade-in program. 
 

 The way the program works is simple: if you find you are not using an Arc'teryx garment, the company with buy it back from you at 20% of the original price. The garment is then put back on the market at a reduced price.

 At the current stage of the program, the used gear is not yet available for purchase in Canada, but Arc'teryx is working on making that happen. The US store is live so you can check that out, and some words and FAQ regarding the program are available on the Arc'teryx website.
