        Worst season on Everst yet





        I just read an article on how it has been the worst season ever for accidents on Mount Everest. This reminds me of how bad our season has been in the commercial heli-ski business for accidents as well.  

        This year has been the worst in quite a while for an industry that had a stellar safety record.  Now we did have an unusually complicated snowpack this year.  As well we are seeing an explosion in the number of guests coming out for the ultimate powder experience.  Just interesting to see that other commercial outdoor businesses are struggling too.  Let's hope this is just s blip on the radar for a very safe industry.
