Christmas is a time where we gather with those we love and are thankful for our families and all the great things we have in our lives. I am thankful that I don't live anywhere near the east coast anymore. Yesterday I was full on giggling not 5 minutes from town in thigh deep powder while the east coast remains mostly closed. They might be having one of the worst starts to a ski season yet.

While come resorts have managed the mild temperatures and have been able to make enough snow to open a few runs, the conditions remain very poor. On the plus side things over at Jay peak , Mont Saint Anne and Le Massif are looking promising. Let's hope this weather pattern is an anomaly and not a new weather trend.
