My brother and I have grown up skiing together in Ontario – learning how to carve the sweet corduroy of Collingwood’s groomed slopes. Post uni we took turns doing seasons in France where we learned the wonders of a face shot and the pure bliss of hiking for fresh tracks. We keep the dream alive as best we can with yearly trips west to get taste of the powder we love so much but can’t find back east. This shot captures the last run of the last day of a week of touring around Golden. The sun was low, the thermal inversion was high and we were in heaven. My brother turned to me and said, “Sis, if you get this shot I’ll love you forever”. And so he will….
