Skiing is on! First resort opens in N.A.
Typically we would be talking about either A-Baisn or Loveland when it comes to the battle for bragging rights of being the first ski resort in North America to open for the 2012/2013 ski season. Not this year. This year the accolades go to Wild Mountain as they are now offering skiing - sort of.
Never heard of it? Neither had we. Wild Mountain is located in Minnisota of all places. It seems that this was more of a publicity stunt as you can tell by the thin strip of snow they are calling "skiing" but you have to give them credit, now everyone has heard of Wild Mountain Minnisota. Nicely Done.
