Sneak Peek: Ortovox Ascent Avabags - VIDEO

For the 2018/19 ski season, the Ortovox Ascent Avabags will be available in Canada with the addition of a 40L version. There are currently three Avabag sizes in the lineup, 22, 28 and 30 litres.
 

The Ascent Avabags cartridge system uses compressed air that weighs just over 5lbs, this is incredibly light for an avalanche airbag compared to other brands currently on the market. The airbag itself is welded instead of sewn which further lightens things and makes the airbag very durable and robust.


The venturi system and canister are very compact so there is more room in the pack for your gear and with an adjustable trigger mechanism you can easily customize the pack’s fit to suit you.
