Sneak Peek: Next Season’s Scarpa Maestrale XT Boots - VIDEO
The Maestrale is currently the best selling AT boots in the world, but Scarpa isn’t one to rest on its laurels so they’re taking the Maestrale to the next level. Come fall 2019 the Maestrale will be available in a new XT version which is stiffer and more freeride orientated than the highly acclaimed RS version. The Maestrale XT will have a 130 plus flex rating as well as two upper buckles verses the heel retention strap found on the current Masetrale and Maestrale RS boots. The XT will also sport a new dual density cuff which is designed to effectively drive the ski in aggressive terrain and challenging snow. This new cuff will use grilamid in the back with pebax in the front which provides a stiff backbone in the back and a progressive flex in the front thanks to the softer pebax material.
The Scarpa Maestrale XT Boots will also come with a booster strap and more powerful walk/ski mode.
