Spring conditions and avalanche safety

 While chairs slow to a stop and many are putting their skis and boards away, many will continue to slide around sunny mountain slopes. While the usual spring diurnal cycle offers some predictability, keeping an eye out for less predictable problems, like wind slab, is still an important part of safe backcountry travel.
