Got the Bonnington huts booked for the end of march. Anyone been out there? Live near there? Know anything about the conditions this year? I'm in the east kootanys and we've got snow up high none down low wondering if its the same there? Should i bring touring gear or hicking boots?

Hey Russ, we have a good base of snow above 5400' and it looks like this at Kootenay Pass now and Whitewater Ski Resort (both over 5000') but pretty close to zero out there...
