gear for a bigfoot man
can someone help me out....I'm looking to get into ski touring, the issue is I'm 7ft tall 270lbs and have size 18 feet(and no i don't play basketball). i want to gear up for next next year. I've been looking for boots with no luck. i have a set of alpine boots but i assume i need freeski boots, also ski size and make recommendations. thanks
Hello, just use your regular ski boots with a binding that has a walk mode.
As long as you a re comfortable in them, you might get away with undoing the top buckles to give your ankles some more fore and aft movement.
The disadvantage is you are lugging more weight uphill, but a dude your size might be able to handle it. Also when buying touring boots the light weightness of the design might feel soft skiing for your Size.
