You guys must have been hit hard with that cold front and rain that we got here in the Kootenays. Wicked you got out ot take advantage of it.
Just hiked up to a small glacier in k-country. Got 5cms of low density+ strong wind filled in all the little gullies on the glacier. Probably best to open this photo in a new tab as i am having issues with sizing

which glacier? Robertson, French, or possibly Rae. I've got my jones to get any turns in these days. I'm still waiting for enough to get out to Highwood pass.

This was up at Rae on the lower snow fields , The upper portion was mostly ice so without Crampons, an axe or an experienced partner we opted for mellow laps of the bottom fields. It was great to get a few turns in and even better to get some freshies!
