Is a Ski Resort Cooperative Viable?
Mad River Glen in Vermont is a co-op and they are making a go of it. Not quite the same terrain as radical meadows but when the snow is good, the skiing is great. And, yes, they are not Canadian.
I dont think this idea belongs in the Land of Unicorns. It sounds like it would be viable option and plus... without the uber expensive chalets you wont attract the yuppies. Maybe I am speaking only for myself, but trying to avoid that type of atmosphere is one of the main reasons I like to get ito the back country.. and for fresh turns of course..
I think this is a great idea. Kudos to Chris Rowat. Although... this leaves but one question... how does one get involved?
