        THE CORONA DIARIES: pandemic-inspired ski films by Nikolai Schirmer

        As borders closed last Spring, skier and filmmaker Nikolai Schirmer took the travel restriction as an opportunity to explore the local mountains around his Norwegian hometown, Tromso, . If you haven’t had a chance to watch the four short films that came to life from these adventures, I’d highly recommend you check ‘em out. Not only will the sea-to-mountain-top drone shots take your breath away, but the icy couloirs and steep rappels will keep you on the edge of your seat. There is also something incredibly refreshing about Schirmer’s positive energy as he and his friends encounter some tense moments during their attempts of some daring lines.
