Primo Sunglass Bags - made from real bike tubes!
If you are a mountain biker or road biker or just need a new sunglasses case then you may be interested in the uniquely designed 'Primo Sunglass Bags' from our friends at Tailgate industries. Tailgate Industries are the makers of the '49R Goggle Cases' (which we covent here at Backcountry Skiing Canada HQ) and the 'Gondom' Goggle protectors for you helmet heads. We reviewed both of these products last season and found they really answered a need in our backcountry kit.
The Tailgate Industries Primo Sunglass Bags are the summer version of the 49R Goggle Cases and they help protect your spendy shades while not in use. The materials used are a soft fleece-like fabric for the liners and upcycled bike tubes for the exterior. The icing on the cake is the drawcord cinch which is a presta valve ring. The cases measure roughly 4″x8″ and can fit sunglasses of most sizes. As with the goggle cases the Primo Sunglass Bags are manufacture in Bend, Oregon and come in several fun and unique colours and fabric combinatiomns.
If you are interested in getting your hands on one of these new products visit the Tailgate Industries web site this fall as they will be going on sale online at http://www.tlg8.com for only $14.95, which we think is a pretty fair price for such a unique expression of your love of biking.
