Jan 9. Quick and dirty Prospector

Headed up onto to Blaster's Ridge and around to Prospector Bowl this early aft (Saturday) to get away from the hubbub. The uptrack was well set in there--looked like there had been a lot of traffic. Without any fresh snow recently, our expectations weren't high. Getting up top was super nice and we were surprised to see many neighbouring peaks poking up above the clouds. We skied down toward the right, right of B shaft. It was chopped up and tricky skiing but fun. There was a little sluffing but things felt pretty stable (maybe because we avoided exposed areas). We continued right and into the bottom of Ymir Bowl. Thought it was a great way to spend a couple hours, I wouldn`t recommend this route until we get some more snow (which may be soon).
