Spearhead: Pushing the Boundaries of BC's Backcountry

 The first known attempt of the Spearhead Traverse was in 1954, and it was not successfully completed until ten years later when it took 9 days to complete. These days, most people choose to do it in 3-4 days and there is a plan for a system of 3 backcountry huts, the first of which has already been completed. 

 Spearhead: Pushing the Boundaries of BC's Backcountry is a film about the history of the Spearhead traverse, and speaks to how the management of these areas has to adapt as popularity increases.
