COMP- Video Highlights tantalus \"Look fresh POW\"

AH, What do you get when you mix some Madonna with some ski video? Answer check out the video. "Look fresh Pow" I know many will poo-poo the use of helicopters, but I view them as a tool to access the backcountry. Just like sleds, skins, planes and even snowshoes, anything to propel yourself into the mountains and up to access the wonderful world of backcountry skiing. The vertical and lines possible with the use of helicopters is amazing. I love to tour and do mega traverses as well, but the access to this range would eat up a day on each entry and exit.

This video is shot on several overnight trips to the Jim Harbel alpine club hut and touring and hiking for turns. The area around the hut is a provincial park so no mechanized use (helicopters) is permitted. We used black tusk helicopters out of Squamish and arranged drop offs and pick ups.

We skied many of the clasics around the hut off Serratus, Dione, Tantalus, Iona, Alpha, and some sub ridges onto the glaciers.
