        Mt Harvey, Vancouver. Behind the Lions

        Last Sunday we went up Mt Harvey for a one day local adventure.

        The conditions were good, and the weather was perfect.

        After arriving at the trail entrance we began our hike up with our ski gear on our back, with shorts on, and started out on foot, pushing our bikes up as well for a faster descent once the snow ends.

        it was a great hike up, with beautiful views of Howe Sound along the way…


        We took a different approach then most. Hiking the ridge of Mt Harvey to the summit is the most common way, but we went around into the valley as though we were going to continue on the the lions, and then zigzagged back up to Harvey.

        Though our views probably weren't as good as the more common route, we had the best view of the Lions and got to scope out any lines for the future.
