Dude, try to hook up with the Sudbury Canoe Club-I know some of their WW paddlers have been telemarking the hills in Capreol for decades. Sorry no more info than that.

Hi, I've just moved back to Northern Ontario from out west. I just started tele last season on lake Louise and sunshine. I'm really interested in any backcountry spots in the Manitoulin-Sudbury-North Bay area. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. As for that hill in capreol I think it might be wolf lake mountain, I might take a rip down kukagami lake road to check it out. Also I live up on the hill in North Bay and there must be a pole line or something that is usable... With all the snow and powder we've got up there this year it could be sweet! If anyone's in the area feel free to msg me.

If you're still looking for the "mountain" north of Capreol...I came across a couple guys cutting a downhill trail up there this past fall.  They have several trails in that area they have cut.  If you're still looking I could give you directions to the location.
