        Avalanche Awareness Day – Whitewater – Jan 18

        JOIN US at Whitewater Ski Resort for Avalanche Awareness Day and the BEACON OLYMPICS on Sunday, January 18 at 2pm.  Practices your beacon skills and win great prizes from Backcountryskiingcanada.com. Meet us at the Beacon Basin in the Meadow at 2pm and race to find the first beacon of the five that are buried in the meadow to WIN!

        We have put together two "stoke packs" that are worth $80 each and contain:

        - Set of Lift Baskets

        Hosted annually by Whitewater, Avalanche Awareness Day promotes safe travel in the backcountry. This year's theme "The Backcountry Starts Here" highlights the fact that when you duck the rope at a ski hill, that is where the backcountry starts.
