Great overview. A couple of comments (suggestions)... I notice that you are using the "Transceiver Pocket" that is designed into your ski pants. As an AST 1 Instructor, I caution my participants with using these, as there is way too much potential for the transceiver to get damaged (rendering it inoperable) if it happens to get hit against a tree, rock or another hard object in a fall (especially if the skier/boarder/sledder is swept away in an avalanche). All the manufactures instructions (as far as I am aware) recommend that transceivers be worn in the harness provided, underneath at least one layer of clothing. As convenient as these pockets are, there is just too much of a downside when lives could be at stake! Add to the fact that wearing the transceiver under at least one layer of clothing will also aid in the batteries lasting longer (being kept warm).
My other comment is to not only know your transceiver, but the transceivers of the other members of your group. Know how to turn all the transceivers in your group, on, off and into send/search mode.
Keep up the great videos!
Cheers,
Peter
