Funky New Packs from Boreas -- Pics from OR

Boreas is a relatively new manufacturer on the scene whose distictive designs set them apart  from more "traditional" pack providers. There's an interesting new convergence of style/fashion and design and Boreas is at the middle of it. Think of Nonetheless Garments, even some of the new Schoeller jeans Black Diamond is coming out with these days. People are interested in apparel that functions and looks funky at the same time--and is made with progressive fabrics like NeoShell and Schoeller.

We applaud this trend and will try and get our paws on a Boreas pack to put it through its paces. They look pretty cool but we don't know how they'll stand up to abuse. Yet.
