La Sportiva Launches ultra light RT tech binding

Today La Sportiva officially entered the North American binding market with the launch of their ultra light RT Tech binding – which is already popular in Europe. La sportiva manufactures and markets technical climbing, mountaineering and hiking footwear. Their new RT Tech binding weights in at just 175 grams making it a pretty damn light AT touring binding. The binding should be available on the usual outdoor gear web sites mid December and retail for $700 US.

We will keep you posted on things and hopefully get our hands on a pair to put them through their paces and let you know how they stack up.
